We are thrilled to share with you that Pyrcroft Grange Primary School has been awarded the Eco-Schools Green Flag Award with Merit. The award recognises our excellent contribution towards improving sustainability and environmental learning within our school. Eco-Schools praised the efforts of our pupils who clearly care about our planet and all plants, animals, and insects that live on it.

Our school’s Eco Heroes have taken responsibility for completing the Eco-Schools’ Environmental Review, and gathered lots of ideas for their Action Plan. Our Action Plan was clear at involving as many people as possible, maximising the impacts of the Eco-Schools activities. Our Eco Hero Committee have used a variety of methods to promote sustainability and keep our school community informed about the Eco-Schools’ initiatives throughout the academic year.

Our Eco Hero Committee were recognised for their unwavering determination to create positive impacts within their school, local community, and beyond. The children have delivered a fantastic programme of eco-action over the academic year, and should be very proud to have achieved an Eco-Schools’ Green Flag with Merit.
